We’re back after an extended summer break.. we did not just rest in the sunshine (LOL, Ireland) but were all busy as hell and so our wee podcast was delayed. Nevermind, we’re here now and our first episode is really just a catchup on what we’ve all been up to (beery or otherwise!) as well as a look into season 5 and what’s to come.
The Glasladies Beer Society is on a mission to connect beer-loving women (and non-binary folk) in Glasgow and this year they’re turning FIVE. But they don’t just organise regular meetups, they have an annual beer festival too! The Beer is for Everyone festival is happening on 16 November in Glasgow with a focus on inclusivity, from accessibility to allowing kids and dogs. It’s a celebration of Scottish craft beer and culture for the whole family. Part of the proceeds will be going to two worthy charities: Scottish Action for Mental Health (SAMH) and The Women’s Centre Glasgow. Get your tickets below, it promises to be amazing!
It’s our annual Halloween podcast crossover and this year we’re delighted to be chatting to the Spooky AF podcast, a local Irish pod that explores all things spooky, paranormal and weird. We hear from Rob and Suz about how their podcast came to be, their favourite Irish pubs (haunted ones…?) and ghostly stories from Ireland.
Lisa and Christina also appeared on their podcast - go and have a listen. And happy Halloween to all you spooky souls…
